The fine mesh bag (mechanical lock) is a replacement part that is manufactured by Pentair. This is a genuine OEM product.

The fine mesh bag was designed for the Kreepy Krauly pressure side model cleaners to be the object in which all the dirt and other various forms of debris and mulch are dispersed. This way they can be disposed of after the cleaner has accomplished its job or when the bag is full and ready to go. Now, this bag is made more specifically for fine debris pickup like dirt and sand trapping these objects so they cannot escape. Now, depending on the type of area you live in or the type of landscape surrounding your pool, there is another option made for the Legend called the coarse mesh bag made for larger debris like leaves, acorns, etc.

This part is white and is designed to rest above the cleaner atop the vac tube where all the debris travels through with the help of the venturi jets. This bag also has a mechanical lock as opposed to a velcro brand fastener which is a more durable mechanism as the velcro can wear and deteriorate over the length of time and use of the cleaner, also helps with a quick disposal of its contents.

    Sierra Pool Supplies will accept a return on most items that are in new, unused/unopened condition and are not custom or specially ordered within thirty (30) days of delivery for a refund, less any shipping and handling charges, and less a twenty percent (20%) restocking fee.  All returns, exchanges, and warranties are subject to the terms, conditions, and procedures of Sierra Pool Supplies' Shipping and Returns General Terms and Conditions. If your product is not functioning properly, please call Sierra Pool Supplies as soon as possible (but not later than thirty (30) days from purchase) at 530-514-4369 during regular business hours, Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST.  In most instances, our representatives can assist you in diagnosing and resolving your product problems.  However, in instances where a product is truly defective, the manufacturer of the product, or Sierra Pool Supplies in its sole discretion, will repair or replace the product, in whole or in part as necessary, with an even exchange of the same item or replacement parts, subject to in-stock availability. Replacement items ship the same week the defective item is received and inspected by Our Returns Department.  The user is responsible for the shipping costs to ship the defective product back to Sierra Pool Supplies.  Be sure to obtain a tracking number for your return items sent to Sierra Pool Supplies.
